Third Age Tourism

Turkey is located in a truly heavenly geography regarding Third Age tourism.

Since it is surrounded by seas on three sides, sea tourism is quite developed. Especially the southern region is very popular for long-term accommodation during the winter due to its generally mild climate.

Its spas and thermal hotels are designed to meet all needs. One of the basic conditions of third age tourism is the adequacy of health services. With the increase in tourists over 65 years of age, medical care services and private geriatric care services are becoming widespread in hotels. Turkey is becoming increasingly popular for long-term accommodation with its state-of-the-art buildings, state-of-the-art hospitals and expert/trained staff.

Turkey is also attractive due to its terrestrial proximity, especially with European countries.
